Stanley McHale is an established and much-in-demand comedian who has headlined the vast majority of the UK's leading comedy clubs.
His friendly and non-confrontational style is none the less full of panache, power and opinion, making him a firm favourite on any bill, be it performing a set or acting as MC.
Stanley avoids all cliché and is renowned for his uproarious, utterly original material and delivery, which is always animated, irresistible and unique.
Having performed stand-up professionally since 1999, he spent 2005 to 2007 away from the UK comedy circuit, performing well-received shows in America as well as writing a book The Power Of 10 (to be released in 2009) as well as co-writing his first play, The Berserker Boys, with fellow comedian Keith Carter, which debuted at The Unity Theatre, Liverpool, in February 2008 and will run for a month at the acclaimed Royal Court, Liverpool, in August 2009.
Stanley is also responsible for popular and satirical weekly newspaper column in the Liverpool Echo.
Back on the UK map from 2008 onwards, Stanley is a genuine maverick who delights any audience he walks in front of and is an enriching and hilarious addition to any evening.
"Infectiously funny. An extremely personable performer, McHale easily establishes a great rapport with even the most standoffish of audiences."-Chortle
