Butterscotch emerged onto the pop scene in 1970 with the chart hit "DON'T YOU KNOW (SHE SAID HELLO)" which also charted in Scandinavia and Europe. Original songwriters Arnold, Martin &Morrow also wrote other hits, including "WHOLE LOTTA LOVTN" for Guys & Dolls.
Drummer/vocalist Paul and Bassist /vocalist Jeff also played and sang on other hit records of the era including Phillips/Fontana artists legend Wayne Fontana and singer/songwriters Vanda & Young of the Easy Beats.
Butterscotch include the Easy Beats " FRIDAY ON MY MIND" in their current fast moving set in addition to other well known songs from the 60's and 70's through to the present day favourites.
The current line up also includes Guitarist & musical arranger Vic Lennard, Guitarist/vocalist John (who has just joined the band after touring for many years with the 60's chart toppers "The Four Most") and the lead singer Angela,fronting the band belting out songs by artists such as Alanis Morrissette, Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow, Texas, Shania Twain, Fleetwood Mac and a medley of Motown numbers as a finale. Most numbers feature close coupled four part harmonies.
Butterscotch is still popular throughout the UK & Europe and is equally at home in Pubs/Clubs, Holiday Parks as well as larger Concert Venues.
